A love for Michael Kors

I love designer things who doesn't? But sometimes we can't always afford them but Michael Kors is my favourite a long side others like Alexandra Mcqueen and Chanel.

What I like most about Michael Kors is that, it's reasonably priced compared to other designers, the design is well put together making them all pretty.

My most recent Michael Kors item is the silver bracelet watch, I love this accessorie because it's gorgeous. The watch isn't really over priced but then again its not the cheapest. I also like the watch because I wear a watch almost everyday, every few months I end up having to get a new watch because the ones from the high street shops break really easily, where as this one is doing very well even though I don't always take the best of care of my watches.

So I would highly recommend Michael Kors watches and not because I love Michael kors,not at all aha

My favourite item of the year so far

Hello again.....
So I know I haven't blogged in a while but I've been really busy and haven't had time too but here's my first blog of 2014

It's my favourite item of the year so far......it has to be faux coats,I just love them.

I own about three/four of them which is more then I need cause there's only one of me but oh well.
The one I'm wearing in the picture above is from New Look for £25.99 i think.....
For that price I just couldn't help myself,I had to have it. I thought it wasn't going to last that long and be was going to be rubbish quality. I would highly recommend the coat cause the quality is really good,it's not overly priced also it's a nice colour and can go with pretty much anything,which is a bonus.

Nails

Hiya,

So this little post is about nails,I just wanted to say my view on getting your nails done by an professional.
Most people will tell you it's a waste of time,it is not worth the money and never will be. Well personly I think it's great having your nails done,why? Cause not only are you pampering yourself, you get some down time which if your life is busy then its a bonus. Also it's easy,can be time consuming depending on what your having done but is a all round great thing. 

I think the biggest put off is the price to be honest because who wants to go to a salon and end up paying £30 or £40,when it's cheaper to go to the supermarket and pick up a full set for like £5 or £6. If you can find the right place with the right price and style,then I don't think there's anything wrong with getting your nails done because at the end of the day its up to you not everyone else. 

So if I was you I'd get my nails done by an professional,even if it's just a one off to see what it's like.

Recipe Of The Month- Banana Doughnuts

Banana Doughnuts
 

We all love a little treat and my treat of

the month would have to be these doughnuts.

I mean just looked at them. So here is the recipe.    

 

 

Ingredients

-1 cup flour

-1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

-1 teaspoon baking powder

-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-1/4 cup buttermilk (*if you don’t have buttermilk, use milk + 1 teaspoon white vinegar)

-1 ripe banana, mashed

-1 egg, beaten

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1/2 tablespoon of melted butterFor the brown butter glaze:
-4 tablespoons butter
-1 cup powdered sugar
-2 tablespoons milk or cream
-1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions 

1. Preheat the oven to 325°. Lightly grease a doughnut pan (I actually used a mini-Bundt pan, filling the cavities only 1/3 of the way with batter).
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Make a well in the centre of the mixture and add the buttermilk, mashed banana, beaten egg, vanilla, and butter. Mix until all ingredients are just combined.
3. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Each indention should be about half full.
4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until baked through. Doughnuts should spring back when lightly pushed.
5. To make your glaze, heat butter over low heat until it turns golden brown- about 6-8 minutes. You will see solids separate from fat as the liquid begins to brown. Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Transfer to a shallow plate or bowl so that it cools.
6. Dunk cooled donuts into the warm glaze, and place on parchment paper until set.

Be your lipstick

 

 I don’t know about you but I love lipstick, why? Because I can change my look complete depending on how I’m feeling. Whether I’m feeling dangerous but happy or pretty in pink. So, yeah I really love lipstick if I’m not wearing it then I’m simply really missing it, which makes me sad cause I need lipstick!!

So I guess this will more than likely turn into a review of my favourite brand and colour lipstick. All my lipsticks are Collection 2000, i know boring having all the same brand but I just love them too much to let go,haha!!

The picture above is my most recent purchased lipstick but a life time fave. Number 12-Valentine, now if you ask me it sound glamour’s without even putting it on, makes me think of Valentine’s Day, love and that. Even if I never do get a Valentines, aha.The lipstick itself is out of this world, the colour is so out there but not too in your face and it goes well with most outfits depending on my mood. It never dries my lips out which is a huge deal for lipstick, nothing worst then taking your lipstick off and your lips are all dried out and cracked, eww nasty!! So that’s pretty much all I have to say about my favourite lipstick.
